Bear Creek Hiking Club Rules & Regulations
STANDING RULES Practice Low impact recreation by: *Packing out what you pack in with absolutely no littering. *Leaving campsite as natural as possible. *Having no radios. *Observing other common-sense rules as necessary. Recognize the hike/ trip coordinator as the person in charge of the outing. No illegal substances on any of the outings. Abide by all regulations of the U.S. Forest Service or relevant organization. No pets.
PARTICIPANTS RESPONSIBILITIES Each person is responsible for filling out a registration form and signing a release form. Each person is responsible for maintaining their physical condition for participation on hiking events. Each person is responsible for their own safety during hikes. Each person is responsible for their own nutritional and medical needs on hikes. Each participant should carry on their person, all medical information (insurance card, contact numbers for family members, etc.) in case of emergency. Each person is responsible for their own transportation to hiking events, however carpooling is encouraged and the hiking club will assist in organizing those carpools.
